WILLEFORD, ALICE MAE HANSEN WILLEFORD, born November 9, 1929 to Chris and Mary Hansen in DeQueen, AK, died May 18, 2004. She was married for 47 years to her loving husband, James Wendell Willeford. Alice worked in the Medical field 50 years until she retired. She was content to be in her home with her beloved husband and her animals. She is survived by her sisters-in-law in her husband's family Rubye Hansen, Hazel Keeling, Naomi Rucker, Dorothy Graff, Lynda Morrison, Dortha Nell Willeford and her brother's wife Karen Hansen. Alice has nineteen nieces and nephews on her husband's side and five on her side. Alice was preceded in death by her brother Jim Hansen, sister Ann Burden, brothers-in-law, Grady Willeford and Donal Willeford, parents Chris and Mary Hansen and her beloved children Rhonda Kay and Charles Michael. Alice was a great animal lover and is survived by her beloved dogs Susie and Cookie and her cats, Peaches and Darth Vader. The family requests donations to the SPCA of Texas, 362 S. Industrial Blvd, Dallas, TX 75207, (Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals) in lieu of flowers. Services will be held at 1:00 p.m. Saturday May 22, 2004 in Williams Memorial Chapel. Interment will follow in Restland Memorial Park. Family will receive friends from 6 to 9 p.m. Friday at Williams Funeral Directors.
